Summary and Challenges Traditional oil level monitoring system may not be mature enough to provide accurate reading or a remote monitoring function. E.g. old premises are using oil dipstack for level rough measuring or the monitoring system could not interface with existing building management system due to site constraint. We are now searching for an oil level monitoring sensing device which shall interface with the LoRaWAN Gateway (Standard V1.0.2 or above).


The LoRaWAN oil level monitoring system shall:
  • Monitor the oil level of different oil system. System requirement:
    • i) Comply statutory requirement. For example, explosion proof and waterproof rating
    • ii) Interface with LoRa (protocol conversion& interfacing unit shall be provided by Solution Provider)
    • iii) Be easy to install for various oil tank design, especially underground type.
    • iv) Prefer wireless sensor.
    • v) Classify water and oil level reading
  • System alert when the parameter fall below threshold (adjustable);
  • The system shall deploy LoRaWAN technology & shall operate in AS923MHz frequency band; The data transmitted shall be sent to EMSD owns LoRaWAN network server with specified data format, for further integrate with the LoRaWAN Gateway, Network Server, and EMSD owned IoT network server platform.
The solution provider could propose other relevant smart features.
Expected Outcome Solution provider shall be responsible for design, supply and install such sensors
Expected Trial Duration 6 months
