Summary and Challenges This project aims to develop a prototype of an automatic welding process and weld inspection method to enhance the welding quality, productivity and occupational safety of staff to replace the current practice in fabricating the roadside steel railing facilities. The subject prototype of automatic system shall be implemented as trial for evaluation in a pilot local correctional institution.
Expected Outcome A prototype of automatic robotic welding and inspection system shall be designed, developed, constructed, tested and commissioned with appropriate jig & fixture, rotational table, robotic welding arm
