Summary and Challenges | Taking advantage of the dense distribution of the smart lighting equipment, it is cost-effective to integrate device for collecting environment parameters to monitor airflow patterns within an area. The information would be useful for monitor the performance and effectiveness of MVAC system. In particular, during epidemic period, certain areas within a building may be changed to different usages to cater for infectious diseases control. Information on airflow pattern is important to the operation and maintenance personnel who are responsible for the adjustment of the MVAC system to meet operational needs. |
