In order to improve the efficiency of drawing vetting, this project aims to develop an AI system to facilitate the construction drawings vetting that makes use of image analytics to intelligently state the changes against the previous drawings.

The system can provide to read a series of drawings in pdf and compare the previous drawings and the revised drawings. It is required intelligently identify the changes by symbol on the drawings and clearly state the changes in words with construction term by clicking part of a drawings in Graphical User Interface (GUI). In addition to the need for image analytics, the system may also need to be applied to deep learning such as Convolutional Neural Network (CNN).

Project Challenges:

  1. Being able to analyze the construction drawings.
  2. Being artificial intelligent to state the changes in words with construction term.
Expected Outcome A system with an AI image analytics and stating the changes of drawings in GUI
