There are more than 10 lifts distributed in different areas. To optimize the lift usage, we plan to develop a system for monitoring lift passenger traffic. By collecting and analyzing the traffic data, the system can suggest passengers to take the lifts with less usage. A web-based dashboard will also be designed to show the density of waiting people in lift lobbies and the running status of lifts.
The dashboard shall include the following information:
Estimated density of waiting people in lift lobbies, data refresh time shall be around 10 seconds;
Live data of lifts including but not limited to real-time location of each lift, running direction, load status; some of the data may be available from third-party remote monitoring system;
The locations of the lifts displayed on the floor plan; The monitoring system shall store the historical data of the density of waiting people in different lift lobbies. Additional equipment shall be installed in lift lobbies to retrieve the density. The number of lift lobbies involved is around 20.
Expected Outcome
Supply and Install equipment for estimation of density of waiting people in around 20 lift lobbies.
Design, supply and install a centralized system for managing, collecting, storing and displaying data from the density estimation equipment.
A web-based dashboard with web hosting service. The dashboard shall display the data from the density estimation system and other data retrieved from external systems.
