Summary and Challenges This project aims to adopt advanced combined heat and power (CHP) generator technologies at sewage treatment works, to maximize the energy generation from the biogas produced during sewage treatment.
Expected Outcome The objectives of this project is to adopt advanced CHP technologies, which able to:
  1. improve the efficiency of electrical and heat energy generation of the CHP generating system;
  2. recover electrical energy from waste heat generated; and
  3. improve the operation reliability and reduce maintenance needs through smart systems
