Summary and Challenges Due to the changes in business environment, there are many on-line shops supplying household electrical products to Hong Kong. This project aims to develop an artificial intelligence (AI) search engine to help identifying non-compliant household electrical products supplied through e-commerce channels
Expected Outcome
  1. Identification of a list of on-line shops supplying household electrical product, eg. electric fans and cookers, on various E-commerce channels to Hong Kong;
  2. Identification of non-compliance product based on the selection criterions via images or text; and
  3. Identification of unsafe products that are recalled and suspended of use in overseas and may also be supplied to Hong Kong
Expected Trial Duration 9 months (3 months for methodology development and system design, 2 months equipment procurement and installation, 3 months data analysis and evaluation, 1 month trail operation)
