In-Station Delivery Service Safety Monitoring

I&T Wish In-Station Delivery Service Safety Monitoring
(REF : W-0021)
Matched I&T Solution
Trial Project
Summary and Challenges

The objective of the project is to mitigate the risks of in-station delivery by tenants of MTR shops. The key risk factors include:

  1. Speeding of deliverymen that causes danger to passengers
  2. Over-height of stacked goods during delivery that blocks the eye-sight of deliverymen
  3. Straying from the original designated delivery route

Preventive measures are yet to be worked out.

We would like to develop a monitoring system to avoid malpractices of in-station delivery such as speeding and over-height goods. Once detected, real-time alarm would be set off to alert the deliveryman and passengers. Colleagues in the headquarters would also be notified of the incident for record and analysis purposes.

Expected Outcome To develop solutions that mitigate the risk of in-station delivery caused by speeding and over-height
Expected Trial Duration 10 months
