• The objective of the project is to help monitor the status of the Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB) in MTR station kiosks. For safety reason, tenants must report to MTR staff any malfunction of the MCB, e.g. circuit break or unintended access to the MCB. MTR would record and analyse the reasons for accessing the MCB and would check if they are due to breakdown of electrical appliances. Unauthorised MCB modification or rectification without prior approval from MTR is forbidden.
• We would like to develop a system to monitor the access status of the MCB, ensuring all abnormal activities and system modifications are logged for record and follow-up action. Headquarters colleagues would also be alerted in real time.
