Trial Project
Summary and Challenges
To align with the Smart City initiative and strategic plan to develop a Government Wide IoT Network in Hong Kong, we are now searching IAQ snesor device for smart toilet use which shall interface with the LoRaWAN Gateway (LoRaWAN Standard v1.0.2 or above). The battery IAQ sensor should be include the followings:
Temperature & Humidity detection (Mandatory)
Odour level sensing (Mandatory) a) Essential - NH3 - H2S, CO2, TVOC and PM2.5 b) Optional - CO - NO2 - and HCHO
Battery operated LoRa sensor up to 4-5 years operation life (minimum upload frequency is ten minutes)
NH3 and H2S measurement range and accuracy supported by 3rd party laboratory
Provide NH3 testing instrument for testing and calibration
Embedded Indicative light for air quality index (adjustable)
Manual call point for data upload
Design shall be sustainable and fully operated in toilet and outdoor environment
Expected Outcome
Through the application of IAQ sensors, we wish can monitoring the temperature, humidity and odour of public toilets. The system should be notify relevant staff to improve the condition of public toilets
