Summary and Challenges This project aims to develop multiple robots for receiving and dispatching mails and documents from receiving and dispatching office to multiple floors through lift. The subject robot shall be able to perform both manual and autonomous task such as first disinfecting the received mails and documents, then self going up and down dispatching mails and documents to different floors by lift or dumbwaiter in indoor office buildings environment.
Expected Outcome A robotic system shall be designed, developed, constructed, tested and commissioned with appropriate types of disinfection operation and battery-driven chassis with processing units including obstacle avoidance, navigation and indoor positioning.
Expected Trial Duration 9-month
