Summary and Challenges In order to accurately identify the location of a person or a group or people for promotion of social distancing to prevent the infection of COVID-19, multiple location identification factors should be taken into account. Video analytic solutions should not be applied in this project. The system should be applied in indoor events such as physical exhibitions, conferences, or major events. Outdoor events are also welcome if technically viable. The system should be able to detect location of people and the distance between people, an alert should be triggered once the system detected that people is violating social distancing requirements.

Project Challenges:
  1. Being able to accurately detect location of a person or a group of people.
  2. Utilizing multiple factors for location identification and people counting with high level of accuracy
Expected Outcome A non-video-analytic based solutions which capable to accurately identify the location of a person or a group or people.
