Summary and Challenges This project aims to study whether applying a magnetic field on the liquid line of the refrigerant will alter the characteristics of the refrigerant, thereby improving the performance of the cooling system.
Expected Outcome
  1. Design and build the experimental setup with adjustable magnetic field applying to the liquid line of the refrigerant for investigating the cooling performance.
  2. Analyse the experimental data and evaluate the feasibility of applying a magnetic field on the refrigerant to improve the energy efficiency of a cooling system.
