| Summary and Challenges |
The approach to “smartify” energy conservation and management in buildings shall comprise the following features:
- Building energy simulation model including but not limited to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and lighting installations for office environment;
- Indoor autonomous robot that patrol and acquire environmental quantities of office environment, for realizing the corresponding distribution maps (e.g. heat map). The environmental quantities to be sampled shall include but not limited to temperature, humidity, CO2, Lux; and
- Retro-commissioning (RCx) exercise shall be arranged accordingly to evaluate and validate the energy-saving potential.
