Summary and Challenges
The objective of this project is to design an energy harvester to door-hinge system which power applications such as IoT electronics, low-energy building devices, etc.
Kinetic energy from swinging-door motions into electricity.
Site installation and measurements are required for the energy harvester to facilitate this study.
Expected Outcome
To design a prototype, conduct trial test to evaluate the energy harvested so as to realize the project application.
The aim of this project is to harvest kinetic energy from swinging door motions and apply the energy to other low-energy building devices.
