Summary and Challenges
  1. Adoption of the high efficacy (>180lm/W) driverless LED lighting technology with a view to saving energy and reducing operating and maintenance costs.
  2. This LED lighting will be evaluated in the trial at EMSD Headquarters and further determine whether the technology is applicable in Hong Kong.
  3. The trial shall include all associated construction works from this trial and include an assessment to compare its performance with other common commercial LED lighting for offices.
  4. The trial shall include a laboratory test by an accredited laboratory in Hong Kong on driverless LED lighting and other common commercial LED lighting for offices.
Expected Outcome Measurement and verification of the benefits of driverless LED technology.
