  • To develop a hauling rope condition monitoring system using AI technology to provide early alert on hauling rope working condition and to minimize rope related incident on peak tramway.
  • The system will work in real time and monitor the working conditions to reflect the health status of the hauling rope anytime. Instant data collected will be processed automatically by analytics to determine if there is any abnormality on the rope. Abnormality alert shall be generated for timely preventive / remedial actions.
Expected Outcome Development of a hauling rope condition monitoring system to minimize the risks of rope related incidents.
