Transport is the backbone of economy as it facilitates the logistics within the city and operation of business activities. To improve the monitoring of the E&M system in Government Tunnels, the Smart Construction Solutions are identified and proposed to have a trail in the designated government tunnels. These solutions adopted emerging technologies including IoT, Robotic, etc.
Expected Outcome
Video analytic, AI & Robotic for Helmet-mounted 360-degree cameras for site monitoring; and AR / VR for Hololens Application for demonstrating and previewing the AR image and element. The captured 3D model and hololens application could create a VR environment and benefit to our new colleagues to familiar the tunnel condition such as passages / pathways within ventilation buildings. In this connection, the working efficiency, occupational health and safety are enhanced.
Video analytic, AI & Robotic to Automate on-site data capture with mobile robot. The mobile robot can access narrow space channels to capture real-time site data for inspection (For example: the overhead dampers along the tunnel tube with limited space channel). In this connection, the working efficiency, occupational health and safety when working inside limited space are improved.
IoT for Smart Safety Helmet. The smart safety helmet provide location tracking and other real-time monitoring to improve the occupational health and safety to work inside tunnel area.
