Summary and Challenges To explore advanced technologies for development of a real-time data monitoring and analytics system to keep track of tensioning status of MTRCL's OHL network. The system will measure and send the data to cloud platform via 5G for comprehensive data analytics. Alerts would be generated for any potential issues to allow railway operator to arrange remedial action at an early stage.
Expected Outcome Development of a real-time monitoring and data analysis system for overhead line to measure and analyze important parameters of self-adjusting tension terminal devices in real time. When abnormalities are detected, the system will identify potential problems early and send alerts to maintenance personnel to arrange remedial measures.
