Pigeons congregating in crowd districts will raise environmental hygiene concern and cause bird related diseases. Some hygiene black spots are identified with flocks of pigeons resting on top of footbridges, one critical location is the footbridge connecting the Central Market and Central to Mid-level Escalator and Walkway System. Despite regular cleansing works are performed at the concerned location, the bird feces had caused serious environmental hygiene concern to the pedestrian walkway. We are looking for a solution to effectively prevent flocks from congregation at the concerned location or other suitable technology to disperse or repel the pigeons.
Expected Outcome
We expect the solution can effectively prevent birds or pigeons from congregating at the designated location and the solution will not cause harm to the birds and pigeons, as well as to pedestrians' health. The solution should be sustainable and require minimal maintenance.
Expected Trial Duration
