The traditional wall clocks may drift and show inaccurate time after running for a period and manual clock tuning is required. The overall idea of this project is to develop IoT-based analog clocks with its management system.
The clock shall synchronize the time regularly via LoRaWAN and report its battery level to server. Users shall be able to access a web platform for monitoring the clock status, including the last time of synchronization and battery level.
Expected Outcome
To develop and manufacture IoT-based analog clocks which are powered by AA batteries and wall mountable.
To automatically tune the clock with the use of LoRaWAN (the microcontroller for synchronization shall be configured in sleep mode after each time synchronization).
To develop a web platform with login function for showing the status of connected IoT clocks, including the last time of synchronization and battery level.
Expected Trial Duration
9-month
