Summary and Challenges |
- We aim to develop an Artificial Intelligence (AI) engine to perform data analysis on Fixed Electrical Installation (FEI) including ages of building, FEI types, approved loading, building management arrangement, locations, plus past FEI incidents records.
- The engine will analyze the data and provide risk analysis report regarding the input data with trends, patterns, and correlations. Initially, 3 years records would be used for the analysis. Another AI engine will be developed for analyzing Periodic Test Certificate (WR2) submission Form including input data extraction and verification. The extracted data will also be used for cross checking with other existing Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD) database.
- Beside input data, schematic diagrams and signature images are also expected to be extracted and verified by this engine. The developed AI engine will also interface with existing EMSD system / database for data transfer and comparison.
- Project Challenges:
- Whether the provided data is sufficient for the risk analysis and the accuracy of the analysis;
- Result of schematic diagrams verification may be varied by the image format quality;
- Signature images comparison may not be accurate as it involves human writing.
