Development and adoption of sulfur-based Flow Battery for Green Energy Storage.
Flow battery is a rechargeable energy storage system in which the electrolyte contains one or more dissolved electro-active species which flow through a power cell/reactor where the chemical energy is converted to electricity.
The Service Provider shall provide a Site which has Green Energy Supply (e.g. Solar Panel, Wind Turbine, etc.) and space for installation of the Flow Battery.
The power capacity shall be around 1~2kW and energy capacity around 4~8 kWh.
A laboratory test on the sulfur-based Flow Battery regarding safety and energy performance is required to be provided when deemed necessary.
The Service Provider shall implement and test the performance of the sulfur-based Flow Battery for the completion of this study.
Expected Outcome
Measurement and verification on the benefits of using sulfur-based Flow Battery.
Expected Trial Duration
12-month
