Summary and Challenges
Humanoid robots are gaining popularity and being rapidly developed with various of designs and models. This inno wish aims to figure out and master the existing humanoid robots’ technology, functionalities and potentials. The goal is to promote the use of humanoid robot in different applications, in order to assist and alleviate in manual works.
The humanoid robot can
Autonomous travel to destinations without any constricts
Travel to different floors through lift
Travel through the automatic doors with access
Climb stairs
Optional Travel on various terrains (e.g. slopes and ramps)
Perform partial or complete tasks using robotic hands (with or without auxiliary tools)
Clean the wastes insides toilets and rubbish bins, equip with advanced functions to open covers
Tidy the garbage
Interact with user
Conduct basic conversations
Answer and solve questions raised by the user
Technical requirements:
Stable and grippy base with automatic navigation
Factory default setting must meet requirements for climbing stairs
Capable with the addition of signal transceiver accessories to reach the requirements for riding elevators and passing through automatic doors
Flexible and gripping manipulator
Achieve a certain degree of freedom and dexterity for continuous operations
Capable of being equipped with and using auxiliaries such as grippers, clamps and suction cups
Automatic speech recognition and content analysis capabilities
Equip with Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) capabilities, including basic bilingual and advanced capabilities for other ethnic languages
Function as an Artificial Intelligence chatbot
Expected Outcome
Ability to welcome guess, complete guess registration and generate e-permit
Ability to identify, clean and tidy wastes
Ability to answer queries based on the built-in data base, such as pathfinding (better with a guide function)
Ability to switch between different built-in languages
