Pilot Trial of Perovskite PV Panels behind window

I&T Wish Pilot Trial of Perovskite PV Panels behind window
(REF: W-0607)
Matched I&T Solution
Trial Project
Summary and Challenges The objective of this project is to conduct a pilot trial of both rigid and flexible perovskite photovoltaic panels on interior window surfaces for building-integrated photovoltaic use in an existing building
  • A minimum energy conversion efficiency of 20% for the perovskite solar cells.
  • Proposed testing panel dimensions of 500 mm × 1310 mm.
  • Evaluating panel output power degradation rates to determine performance behaviors against a rigid panel baseline under indoor environment.
  • Retaining real-world performance data across a 12-month Measurement and Verification (M&V) tracking period on site.
  • Panel transmittance level maintain a 20% and 40% for both rigid and flexible types.
Expected Outcome This project will evaluate the technical feasibility, energy conversion efficiency and degradation rate of rigid and flexible perovskite PV panels operating behind window glazing.
Expected Trial Duration 12-month
