Smart Government Pavilion at the ICT Expo 2022

With a view to promoting the progress of applying I&T among government departments, facilitating exchange between the Government and different sectors of the community, and fostering wider adoption of I&T solutions by government departments for the benefit of the public, the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) will set up the "Smart Government Pavilion" with more than 20 government departments and public organisations at the upcoming "International ICT Expo".

Under the theme of "Smarter Hong Kong", this year's "Smart Government Pavilion" will focus on seven areas: "Smart Mobility", "Smart Living", "Smart Environment", "Smart Government", "Smart Airport", "Smart Village" and "Combating COVID by I&T", featuring more than 40 innovative solutions adopted by government departments and public organisations. These solutions not only enhance the quality of public services, but also help drive smart city development in Hong Kong.

The Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD) will set up a booth to showcase the innovative applications in the industry through the use of E&M InnoPortal. The EMSD will also exhibit some smart city projects, including smart toilet and enhancing hiking safety with the Government-Wide IoT Network (GWIN).
