EMSD has conducted a trial of RCC on metal external roof surfaces of a single storey building. The test result showed an average indoor air temperature reduction of about 2 degree Celsius during daytime. According to the simulation by EnergyPlus, the potential energy saving of air conditioning in rooftop office is estimated to be around 7%. |
