Development of LoRaWAN Gateway-to-Gateway Communication for Extension of LoRa Coverage

I&T Solution Development of LoRaWAN Gateway-to-Gateway Communication for Extension of LoRa Coverage
(REF : S-0818)
Trial Project
Solution Feature
  • A device to extend LoRaWAN coverage by repeater the Lorawan packets where there is no other backhaul connectivity(ie. WIFI, Etherent, 4G) available.
  • Existing LoRaWAN and Sensors can be used with the device.
  • limited capability is expected with Low traffic.
  • external power is required as it will constantly listening the incoming packets.
Trial Application and Expected Outcome
  • Using existing LoRawan sensors running two channels. The device should seat in the middle between the sensors and gateway.
  • Check from network server if the message can be received through the device.
  • generate more traffic(20+ messages) every minute to confirm no packet loss.
  • using directional antenna from the device to extend the distance between the device and the existing gateway(10+KM LOS)
