- Design and develop of an upgraded Auto Sampler for Sewage Surveillance, based on the existing version
- Design and enhance on NB-IoT communication performance
- Design and enhance of mechanical and electronic part
- Fabrication of 10 prototypes based on the upgraded design

| Trial Application and Expected Outcome |
- After investigation of the existing version of Auto Sampler, we will propose and design a upgraded version of Auto Sampler with circuit diagram and engineering drawing
- For the mechanical part, we will study the existing BOM list and purchase the major component of the Auto Sampler, e.g. pump & water collection bottle. Fine tunes of the mechanical layout will be conducted to improve the performance of the Auto Sampler.
- For the electronic part, we will focus on the design and upgrading the NB-IoT performance, e.g. transmit and receive range and stability. Moreover, we will redesign the existing circuit with upgraded component and simpler circuitry.
