Remote Underpass Data Bridging Solution
(REF: S-1558) |
Trial Project |
|
Solution Feature |
- The sending of alarm information must be compatible with mainstream instant messaging applications on Android and iOS mobile platforms.
- The software should be able to acquire real-time data from field devices, preprocess and convert to unified data format like JSON, before sending to central server.
- The central server should have capabilities to store time-series data efficiently, and provide APIs for dashboards and reports. Common technologies like MongoDB, InfluxDB, MySQL can be used
- The dashboard should provide real-time and historical visualization of KPIs. Widely used charting libraries like D3.js, Highcharts can be used.
- Alerting and notification capabilities through email, messaging apps on triggers like thresholds, state change etc.
|
Trial Application and Expected Outcome |
- Set up a pilot system connecting 2-3 field devices in a lab environment through different protocols. Acquire and store data, and validate communication reliability.
- Develop sample dashboards and reports based on pilot data. Get feedback from facility management team on usability.
- Test notification capabilities by simulating alarm triggers. Ensure notifications are received on expected channels.
- Deploy the pilot system on a small scale at a site. Monitor for 2-4 weeks and fine-tune system.
- After successful small scale pilot, plan for wider deployment across multiple sites.
