Solution Feature
  • The intelligent robot system composes three parts: (1) AGV with “Follow Me” function; (2) Lift-able rack; (3) Loading/unloading mechanism
  • The AGV is built in with the artificial vision for the “Follow Me” function and SLAM function (simultaneous localization and mapping) for mapping, obstacle detection and navigation.
  • Two roller platforms lift-able racks installed on the AGV
  • A control panel to control the up and down of the lift-able racks
  • Integrated with weight senor and boundary sensor for safety operation
Trial Application and Expected Outcome
  • The deliverable in this project is a set of intelligent robot system for trial run at Cargo Terminal.
  • Officers can carry out the trial of the "Follow Me" function, the lift-able rack and the loading/unloading mechanism, to enhance the system automation for assisting the daily work of officers.
  • The trial is divided into Alpha stage, Beta stage and Final stage, the system will be enhanced in each stage to facilitate the daily operation.
