| Solution Feature |
- This project aims to develop Direct Current (DC) power supply system for individual unit within a building. The key idea is to supply power by DC instead of nowadays Alternating Current (AC) to achieve energy saving
- Develop an AC/DC power electronics converter system with low acoustic noise, high power density and conversion efficiency
- Develop a DC/DC power electronics converter system to provide different voltage levels respect to the appliances
- Develop a DC circuit breaker with fault identification and reaction in microsecond
- Develop a monitoring system to show the status of the power supply system and energy saving achieved

| Trial Application and Expected Outcome |
- The DC Power Distribution System can be installed in offices or showroom in government buildings to realise the energy saving
