Habits of rodents vary in different environments. Habits of rodents in an overseas environment may be different from the habits of the rodents living in an urban environment like Hong Kong. Rodent trapping devices for rodents overseas may therefore not applicable in Hong Kong. Therefore, Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD) would like to develop or adopt a new rodent trapping device which is effective and suitable for the local environment of Hong Kong. |
