Summary and Challenges This project aims to develop an automatic book sterilizing system designed to eliminate bacteria, viruses and mold from external book cover and internal pages from books. The book sterilizing system shall easy and safe to use, able to perform both manual and autonomous task such as collecting books by conveyor belt substituting hazardous manual labor for automatic and secure sterilization. The book sterilizing system has the capacity to safely sterilize 20 books per minute so books can re-enter circulation quickly.
Expected Outcome An automatic book sterilizing system shall be designed, developed, constructed, tested and commissioned with appropriate types of disinfection operation and verified the sterilization result by third party laboratory.
