Summary and Challenges | This project aims to develop a prototype of hollow glass microsphere based radiative cool roof coating with low thermal conductivity, high solar spectral reflectivity, high Mid-infrared / Far-infrared radiation emissivity and self-cleaning properties. The subject prototype shall adopt a highly aqueous dispersed coating without VOCs emission and simple spraying method. | |||||||||||||||
Expected Outcome | To develop an environment friendly, robust thermal insulation coating with high solar reflectance and thermal emittance, so as to reduce indoor temperature and energy consumption. | |||||||||||||||
