Summary and Challenges
This project aims to develop a prototype of hollow glass microsphere based radiative cool roof coating with low thermal conductivity, high solar spectral reflectivity, high Mid-infrared / Far-infrared radiation emissivity and self-cleaning properties. The subject prototype shall adopt a highly aqueous dispersed coating without VOCs emission and simple spraying method.
Expected Outcome
To develop an environment friendly, robust thermal insulation coating with high solar reflectance and thermal emittance, so as to reduce indoor temperature and energy consumption.
