Summary and Challenges
Early detection of ground cracks and its severity are crucial to maintain building safety and identify potential safety hazards. . We are now searching for ground crack detection system which shall interface with the LoRaWAN Gateway (Standard V1.0.2 or above).Crack detection system shall:
i) Support different level of ground crack detection in terms of severity. For example, possible causes of defects, width of crack versus degree of damage and recommended follow-up action.
ii) Provide a minimum detection coverage 15m x 15m
iii) Interface with LoRa (protocol conversion& interfacing unit shall be provided by Solution Provider)
iv) Easy to install. Prefer wireless sensor.
v) Classify structural and non-structural crack
vi) System alert when the monitoring parameters fall below threshold (adjustable);
vii) The system shall deploy LoRaWAN technology & shall operate in AS923MHz frequency band;
viii) The data transmitted shall be sent to EMSD owns LoRaWAN network server with specified data format, for further integrate with the LoRaWAN Gateway, Network Server, and EMSD owned IoT network server platform.
ix) The solution provider could also propose other smart features to further enhance the facility management and user experience.
The adoption of additional features would be subjected to Engineer's final decision.
Expected Outcome
Solution provider shall be responsible for design, supply and install such sensors
